Title: Systems Administrator (Helpdesk)
Reports To: Chief Technology Officer
Status: Full-time, 12 months
Classification: Salary, Exempt

The Systems Administrator (Helpdesk) is responsible for reviewing, prioritizing, and reporting all service requests for the Technology team and serves as the primary contact for the technology needs of the School.


Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the helpdesk and is responsible for overall client satisfaction by ensuring prompt, accurate, and courteous ticket resolution.
  • Act as the primary technician for desktop-related issues, Microsoft 365 issues, and general technology needs on campus.
  • Act as primary contact for printer/printing tickets and work with our vendor to find a resolution.
  • Provide support campus-wide audio and video needs, including events, masses and banquets in the absence of the Audio/Video Coordinator.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Technology Officer.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Three to five years’ experience in a helpdesk environment, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of technology to include hardware, software, printers and peripherals, audio/visual, and networking.
  • Dedication to providing courteous, efficient, and accurate resolution for all support issues.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Generally works in standard office conditions and climate.
  • Works in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts.
  • May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.
