Description
The Theology Department is committed to the personal formation of all students, advancing the mission of the school and scholarship. A successful candidate must be a practicing Catholic and will possess the following characteristics: a strong academic preparation in Theology or Religious Studies holding at minimum a BA in Theology / Religious Studies; an ability to work collaboratively in a course level cohort to develop and enhance curriculum both vertically and horizontally; a variety of engaging classroom instructional methods along with strong classroom management skills; experience with or an openness to integrate technology in the classroom. The candidate will also be open to instruct in all department course levels from 9th – 12th grade. This position begins in the 2017-18 school year.
Preferred Qualities Include:
• Prior teaching experience.
• Master’s Degree or higher in Theology or Religious Studies.
• Knowledge of Jesuit Tradition, and Ignatian Spirituality
