Description
Jesuit Dallas Administrative Assistant to the Principal

The Administrative Assistant to the Principal at Jesuit Dallas provides professional, organized and confidential support to the Principal, helping ensure smooth daily operations and advancement of annual projects aligned with the School's Mission.

Essential Functions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Principal's Office, managing incoming communication, coordinating correspondence, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for visitors
  • Manage the Principal's daily workflow, including calendar oversight, meeting preparation, and prioritization of tasks
  • Provide high-level clerical and administrative support, including processing expenses, coordinating travel, preparing documents, and maintaining office systems
  • Support the faculty processes, which includes scheduling meetings, assisting with hiring logistics, and maintaining professional documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, files and databases, ensuring compliance with School, Diocesan, Province, and accreditation requirements
  • Coordinate major school events led by the Principal, including reports, convocations, and graduation activities in collaboration with appropriate departments on campus
  • Oversee office logistics and operations, including supplies, maintenance requests, internal communication, and coordination with internal departments and external partners
  • Other duties in support of the Principal and Administration as assigned
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated understanding and appreciation of the Catholic faith, with a commitment to deepen that understanding and advance the School's Jesuit charism
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Proficiency in InDesign or desktop publishing software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstration of a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Three or more years experience in a school or professional office setting
  • Notary for the State of Texas preferred
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Works in a fast-paced environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a diverse array of contacts
  • Works at a desk and computer for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
