Jesuit Dallas is seeking a qualified and passionate educator to teach high school theology in a Catholic all-male setting.  This teacher will be expected to:

• Teach five sections of theology.
• Work collaboratively with all members of the Theology department and serve as a contributing member on course level teams. 
• Participate in all departmental and school-wide faculty formation.
• Participate in student-centered co-curricular, extra-curricular, service, and/or retreat opportunities.
• Form and educate young men to be open to growth, intellectually competent, loving, religious, committed to working for justice, and physically fit.

Qualifications

• Practicing member of the Catholic faith.
• Undergraduate degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Ignatian Spirituality preferred.
• Advance degree preferred.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Works in highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a diverse array of contacts.
• Instructs students who are learning both in person and online.
• May work at a desk or computer for an extended period of time.
• Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
